In my day-to-day life, I've found that when people learn that I write they have some misconceptions about what that actually means.
Yes, I have spent many days in my pajamas—but there's been COVID so there have been many stockbrokers who have attended meetings in their jammies, thankyouverymuch.
"What's that like?" is the question I get asked the most. To be honest? It's pretty damn cool.
I get to create worlds, and people. I get to put them in situations where they act based on the character traits I gave them. I get to send love and hope out into a world that doesn't seem to have enough of either, lately.
Writing is like magic. You can make things appear out of nothing, and then collapse them at will.
You can give two flawed characters the happily ever after they deserve.
Wherever you find your magic—whether it's in writing, music, painting, or something all together different—I wish you time, today. I wish you peace and stillness with your craft and the sweet release of magic that comes with a completed project.
Love,
Michelle xoxo
